OK guys and girls-I was very fortunate enough to find the KJELL 182 Slalom Trucks with the correct Road Star Wheels and 1/2" translucent green urethane risers made by Atlantic. NOW, I need to locate another set of KJELL 140 FREESTYLE Trucks (if they had the Road Star wheels with then that would be great but not necessary) for my 1976 Blizzard Freestyle Kicktail deck for which I have never seen a picture of one anywhere. But I have an NOS-mint one! So if anyone has a lead on a set please send them my way. darkhorse2 51@verizon.net

Glen-no I have not heard of the deck you mention nor did I see any picture of it. E-mail me at darkhorse2 51@verizon.net and I can send you pictures of the ones I have and the one I am looking for. Also, other than the picture in the book I have not seen the other Blizzaed Slalom deck. And the book does not show the other Blizzard Freestyle deck I own which came out the same time as the egg shaped slalom deck did.E-mail me when you can.And the Freestyle decks had KJELL 140 Trucks. I have one set of those as well.Dennis

Glen-I see Radikal has introduced himself to you and welcomed you to the site-he did the same for me-he seems like a good guy. And yes I also have been looking for the KJELL 182 trucks for years and I hate to say it bit I was the guy who won the auction from the person who would not ship them to you in the UK. I did not want the board-I only wanted the trucks and wheels-so I told him to keep the deck and just ship me the trucks and wheels. So I am sorry about that. They are extremely hard to find for sure. If I run across another set I will let you know. And what slalom model do you own the 1978 double cutaway pink, black and white model or the 76/77 egg shaped red, black and white model?I happen to own both versions of the BLIZZARD Freestyle deck in mint NOS condition and the Double Cutaway Slalom in mint NOS condition. I need the 76/77 egg shaped Slalom to complete my collection. Are you looking for an NOS mint pink, black and white Slalom? I know someone who has 2 of them-but I do not know how much they want for them or about shipping to the UK. And if so what are you willing to pay for them (USD)?So if you know of anyone with the egg shaped Blizzard Slalom in NOS condition please send them my way. It is shown on page 70 of The Disposable Skateboard Bible Book.Send me your email address and I'll send you some pictures.Dennis

Does anyone have any information on wooden BLIZZARD Skateboards? I know all about the 2 sandwich Fiberglass Freestyle and Slalom Decks they made (They made 2 different models in both styles) but I have never seen a wooden one before. I have run across someone who has one but neither of us have any information on it to tell if it is a legitimate deck. I would appreciate any information any one can bring to the table. Thanks; Dennis

Hi everybody!I'm back with my last two 70' slalom decks.first, a NEWPORTER slalom pro, N.O.S but with few scratches, due to a bad storage (hey, mad reilly, is this the board you're talking about?). Is has N.O.S NEWPORTER trucks and used ROAD RIDER HENRY HESTER wheels.this board is made of fiberglass sandwich, got a camber, flex, and a tail. A very modern view of slalom deck, looks like the Jani SODERHAL pro model, no? [img:2lm8gcaj]http://i40.photobucket. com/albums/e231/valensole/newporterproslalom2. ;jpg[/img:2lm8gcaj][img:2lm8gcaj]http://i40 46;photobucket.com/albums/e231/valensole/newp orterproslalomback.jpg[/img:2lm8gcaj]The second deck is, I think, very rare, I never saw another deck like this one. maybe english riders have informations about that deck?N.O.S SKATEBOARD SYSTEMS hand made in STAINS (ENGLAND), pro-slalom model, 7 thin ply of wood, with camber.[img:2lm8gcaj]http://i40.photobuck et.com/albums/e231/valensole/fiveaside.jp g[/img:2lm8gcaj][img:2lm8gcaj]http://i40. photobucket.com/albums/e231/valensole/fiveasi deback.jpg[/img:2lm8gcaj][img:2lm8gcaj]http 58;//i40.photobucket.com/albums/e231/vale nsole/fiveasidelogo.jpg[/img:2lm8gcaj]

Hi,I'm new to this site, this is my 1st post. Based in the UK.Totally into late 70's skateboards, especially slalom setups. I saw this site and had a look around, there are some great boards on here, so jealous! Anyway, Ive been after a set of Kjell 182 for ages to go with my NOS(ish) Blizzard slalom deck. There was a complete Blizzard on flebay recently but he wouldnt sell it to me as I was in the UK Said it would eat into his profits. The whole thing went for $67. I would have given him double that for the trucks alone! If anyone could please hook me up with a set I would be eternally grateful.Great site.Glen

I've been going mad looking for a Newporter Pro Slalom board. It was my first skateboard I got it when I was about 12. I'm in my 40s now and I still cruse around on my boards. I just brought a shorty so I can take it on a plane with me. Anyway, I lived in NJ and we had a pretty wicked hill I used to fly down. The board was a gift. I took that board everywhere until someone stole it. It had really wide trucks and super fat wheels. It was nothing like anything you can buy today. The board that I had was blue with white lettering. It was a complete fiberglass board, I've been on the web searching for one and the only one I've seen is the one in this pic. Can anyone tell me about these boards. I would really appreciate the info.

Hey Daz - There is a SKUDA complete listed on the infamous auction site right now with just under 3 days left. 0 bids. Doesn't identify the wheels or trucks, but there is a picture of the top and bottom of the deck. Hope it helps!

I recently purchased this Airflow deck, and would like to do some restoration on it, but not having much luck finding any info on it. I found some mention of Airflow in archived threads, and learned they were an offshoot of Belair based out of Maryland, but that's about it. Anyone out there know when this deck was made? If anyone has one in good shape, I could sure use some photos and scans to help bring it back to life.[img:2zvmfpe9]http://i262.photobucke t.com/albums/ii91/bogus122/Skateboards/Airflo w_1.jpg[/img:2zvmfpe9][img:2zvmfpe9]http: //i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii91/bogus1 22/Skateboards/Airflow_2.jpg[/img:2zvmfpe9]
